THE CAMERA'S ONLY JOB is to get out of the way of making photographs. It's entirely an artist's eye, patience, and skill that makes an image. ~Ken Rockwell VISIT MY GALLERY
Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hilda, this is awsome! Great DOF and the petal remains highlighted on the leaf add a wonderful touch. Fantastic work = favs. The only thing I might suggest would be to flip the image in order to get the main subject away from desktop icons. This in no way affects the quality of this great capture -
Lovely job, my friend. I really like the title and it so aptly describes the way this little flower is acting..so you made it back home, eh? I was worried about you out there on foot, lo those many miles j/k j/k :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
I love this, it is so dreamy and looks great in full screen. Is this in Orton effect, the image just sparkles and comes to life...thanks for sharing...Jacquie
this is another great shot, the rain drop on the foreground flower is great, again the use of depth of field great. the contrast ratio of the back ground and the flower just pops the flower right out.
