This bush was attracting a lot of the Faux Monarchs Thanks to Tee for identifying the butterfly as the Gulf Fritillary. This is a macro view of the flower.
Hi Hilda
I'm not a big foofy man by any means, but I love the red, and orange flowers against a green background. In other words I especially like the colours as stated by those above !!

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.

Wow, that's vibrant! It kind of resembles an azalea bush. Are these your's Hilda? I'm glad someone knew the name of those butterflies because I tried to find out and couldn't.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

~ Hilda, this is a lovely shot! This is a dwarf poinciana, which is a family of small trees or shrubs. We grow them a lot down here in FL. They come in pink and yellow too, but yours is my favorite. You can see some of the other colors HERE.
Yes the butterflies do love them, lol.
