Oh, Hilda...you've outdone yourself with this one...I know it's not what you wanted to send, but it's beautiful and different and I love it!! Saved, Faved and I'm still amazed at the clarity every time I look at it :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Fantastic - he looks so precarious clinging to that flower. Brilliant colours and clarity. A bit of a rarity too in that you've caught his body and not just the wings. It's one of the best butterfly shots I've seen.
I really like this one Hilda. Most flutterby shots, although very pretty, are usually fairly static. This one you can feel the action, sense the movement. Excellent job.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
i agree with PJ above.faved also.terrific depth to this picture and i like the dappled effect the light has produced.a very judicious and innate composition here too.best wishes simon.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
