I'm guessing that's a Sunflower. You've caught before it fully opened at did so very well. Clear and well lit. I'm not a big fan of frames but this one seems most appropriate ... I might say perfect.

Very cool framing. I really like that technique. And the flower, is it opening or just shy? She's a shy beauty I think. Beautiful job Hilda.

I just love that technique, as I've told you before, on the frame. The flower is great as you've caught it in a unique position!! Lovely job, my dear.

~ Hilda, I never noticed a sunflower unfurling before...how lovely with the dew misty drops on the petals! The framing is wonderful and accentuates the photo so well...love that texture embossing!

It looks like it's about to swing open those last petals and throw us all a kiss! Great find and post, Hilda!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Beautiful colors Hilda. I love the framing work too. Is it hard to do a background like that? Did you used PS or something else?
