Most of you said you couldn't see the ducks in Cold Swim on the Golf Course so I'm putting up this closer view. It was such an awesome sight - wish I could do it justice!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Well, I'm sure they're on their way now, but I'm glad you caught them here in this beautiful mist. I think I said about the same thing the first time around as I was able to see them in the first upload as well.
These pics of yours are so great and it takes more than just a drive by glimpse to appreciate the subtle beauty you've given to us!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Another fine atmospheric Upload Hilda
I'm still having trouble duck spotting though. I can see larger but still indistinct dark shapes at the back of the flooded golf course is that them ? I reckon You lost Your golf ball down the bunker on this one. :d
This is better Hilda...really like your exposure in these shots...shows the very early morning dawn with mist...ducks provide a natural addition to composition...Both these are great images!!...gerry
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
- Hermes
This is wonderful Hilda!...You got those reflects spot on!...A chilly day it looks...but a terrific capture!
