The one thing that has ever put me off butterflies is the insect body they all possess, so I think that if this is the wave of the future, I'm going to be much more interested in looking to see who's under the wings!!
Great manip, Hilda and the colors here are just beautiful.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
I'm grinning Hilda ... This is so well done ... very clever not too mention imaginative ... But the grin comes from having no idea what you had done, nor what you were talking about until I viewed this full screen. An excellent manip and one I truly enjoyed discovering.
Hilda this is simply stunning - look out Anne Geddes!!! What a wonderful sight for my snow weary eyes today! This image will be celebrated here for a long time.....
Far out man

Well, this one put a smile on my face! Beautiful manip, Hilda! I never saw it coming in the thumbnail, LOL. Aside from the obvious, the color is outstanding in this shot!
"'Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
We'll have to nickname you Anne Junglegeorgia Geddes! What a great manip, Hilda, and another way to avoid the 'snapshot' police! lol This is great and the butterfly and baby seem perfect for each other.
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
Psalm 1:3 "He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper."
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
