This was taken last 4th of July - first time I was able to shoot fireworks with my Nikon D80 and it was fun to see what came out. I thought this one fit nicely with the Valentine theme. "O love! I really like this alot, Great capture for Valentine's , The only thing wrong with the picture is that when I applied it to my desktop the whole right side comes up a different shade of black, I was able to easily fix it with MS paint and it looks awesome.

Hmmm, I don't know how many comments I've started with 'When I was a kid' but I'm going to do it again. When I was a kid, my grandparents used to have a holiday cottage right next to Tennyson's house in Clevedon, near Bristol in the west of England. It was a big house with a thatched roof and I was fascinated by it. I think Tennyson is always worth celebrating and these fireworks are a fitting tribute. Nice shot, Hilda!
