missed it! This was taken the last night of our vacation in June. We were busy packing to leave and I stepped outside for a moment. When I saw the sky I ran for the camera just in time to catch what was left of a beautiful sunset. I missed the deepest colors.

Beautiful sky and shadows in the water Hilda! The colors are great but if you want the dark colors you do have to get out in time..lol..Excellent shot and post anyway!

You still managed to capture some fine colors there and the mist across the water. Gorgeous clouds too. Nice shot, Hilda.

I groooove on blooooooo. Right now, I can think of nothing I'd like more on my desktop than this picture...it is serene, restful and allows me to move out of this room to stand beside you breathing the cooling air as you snap the shutter.

You didn't miss a darn thing, Hilda. This is beautiful and I think if the sun was present it would not have presented as pretty a shot -

Love sunset reflections in water, you did a very nice job with this one. I know that feeling of just missing the the full colors and glory sunsets can produce, but you still captured a beautiful shot. Looks a wee bit tilted to me, have you tried straightening it?
