We fed the squirrels and birds sunflower seeds this winter and this summer we've had sunflowers popping up all over the yard. I guess they paid us back!

Great sunflower study! Love the angle; it isn't often we get a look at those wonderful hourglass-shaped base leaves.

Just super, Hilda. I'm so glad to see an upload from you again.

This is certainly a cheerful one, and you're right about the payback from the seeds for the birds! Two for the price of one.

Great shot.

This is a stunner Hilda and deserves to do very well. Photographing it from the back was inspired, it really gives a sense of the sun bursting out of a clear sky. Just terrific.

I've always liked "Sunflowers". They are big, bold, bright and of course produce the seed that attracts my precious bird friends. Your image has brought to my attention just how lovely they can appear from the rear when brilliantly composed under excellent lighting conditions. Exceptional work Hilda.
