I must have been an ant in an earlier life. I love them as much as they do. Thanks for bringing these beauties into my world, as my yard is too shady to grow them.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
These are beautiful, Hilda! So clearly captured and the color so delicate. Thanks for the reminder that there are such beauties buried deep in the snow and ice that has covered the ground since December.
Who couldn't love this beautiful flower. So pleasing to look at.
Sometimes we just need to stand still, admire and be thankful for the beauty that surrounds us....in more ways than one.
Viewing your postings has been one of the things that has sustained me during my semi-departure from caedes(partly due to illness).
Story short, Thank you Hilda :)
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Wellcome back Hilda! It is nice to see you posting again. This is a wonderful image. I love pionees and I have some just like these in my garden. Just like you I can´t wait to see them in bloom again. Very nice shot!
I certainly can and mine's in the same place. Give me a holiday!! Actually I'm hoping mine are coming, I have some time off from the 25th of this month. Nice frilly blooms here, could perhaps do with being a touch brighter but I love all the delicate detail.
I think Peonies are hard to photograph if the grower hasn't already allowed for their beautiful (but heavy) blossoms that tend to droop. Here these peonies are shown off nicely, and your photograph is delicate, clear and simply beautiful!
Good on you, my friend, and welcome back!
