Our son Eli and his twin brother and father found bluebell heaven nearly 20 years ago and we have enjoyed its beauty every spring since then. Last winter Eli took his life during a severe depression. We scattered some of his ashes in this place where he will always be honored and remembered. If you want to know more about him please visit this page

So very moving Hilda.
Such a beautiful place for memories although I know they are with you always, no matter where.
Thank you for sharing this lovely photo and part of your heart with us.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A beautiful place indeed Hilda! I'm so sorry about Eli though. My oldest daughter is 39 and is bipolar....I know what it does to a person and I'm always worried about her too. So sorry my dear friend.

This is a beautiful memorial. Just beautiful!! And so meaningful. I lost my brother (also bipolar) to suicide when he turned 30 a number of years ago. He died Oct 5, which is coming up soon. My sincere condolences, even though this post is later than others, I know that the pain is still real even after this time. God bless.

So sorry about the loss of your son.
Depression is an awful thing and our country needs to be more aware and offer more help then it does.
