From the saddle between Hilo and the Kona coast of the big island of Hawaii. This picture I think helps convey why this mountain is considered a sacred place by the natives of Hawaii. Keep in mind the scale. This photo was taken at about 6500 feet, while the top is about 13,800 feet.

Nice panorama! Good DOF and perspective with the road leading off into the distance.

Love the composition! The road winding into the distance gives a sense of scale to the mountain, as well as adding some interest.

Great job!

Nice scenic capture, even though the road goes to the right it still draws the eye to the hill, an the clouds have a sense of movement to. Good landscape.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Whoever puts his trust in God's Son will not be lost but will have life that lasts forever.
