I'm just figuring out how to touch up digital images. From now on, I'll do the touch ups for the first version and avoid the rework! Let me know if you think the improvement was worthwhile...

Definitely worthwhile. I loved the first upload, but you've made it really special this time, so I'll have to save it to my summer file all over again :)

I think you've definitely got the "bug" now, Jon. The increase in color saturation really helps, although to my eyes (or monitor) you might've gone just a bit too far with the contrast. In any case, it always helps to have a good picture to start with, which you certainly did. I love those clouds!

Well, this definitely caught my attention. It looks so much different from the original. Whatever you're doing, you're doing it well! Beautiful vantage point.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

No doubt the colors in this one jump out so much better.
