I was with my family on the central coast of California over thanksgiving, and on Saturday went on a hike with my dad. We climbed Junipero Serra Peak, the tallest mountain in the central coast region. The peak is 5860' in altitude. On the right of the photo is the ocean, although there are low clouds/fog covering it. This is looking southeast. To see where this is, go to maps.google.com and enter: 36.1459, -121.421. If you are truly interested, look at hte satellite photo on google maps and you shoudl be able to identify several of the things you are looking at! Nice challenge. Salinas Valley is on the left, San Antonio Lake in the middle, Hunter-Ligget Military Reservation in front of that.
