Has anyone drunk wine produced in this vast, fertile valley? This was taken from the slopes of Mount St. Helena, which towers 4300 feet above Napa valley. This is only about 3000 feet up the mountain. A very nice 10 mile walk....Mt. Diablo is in the background 65 miles away, and Mt. Tamalpais is behind the clouds on the very right.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

The Napa Valley is so awesome. I've gone thru there a few times, and am always amazed at its beauty. And the wine? oh yes! Nothing quite like it. I love your photo here.It sure makes me realize how large it really is and how fortunate the people are who live there..Thanx for a great photo. Verena
