Another shot of San Francisco, looking toward Montara Mountain. You don't want to swim out too far, and it's not just because of the waves, as Great Whites can be found out there. I think at least.....heresay.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Then I too will just stay here and enjoy the spectacular view from here. There's so much nice things to see. I love the ocean best cause of all the waves!
G'day Jon,
I think this should have a c-index of about 80. There is SO much story here. The couple in the foreground. The lone hang-glider. That group clustered on the shoreline but not in bathers, what are they about? Those mountains lost in mist, like the realm is more than merely physical. To cap it off, the hint of wildness and storm in the massive swathe of whitewater in those waves. Comp is great, top third, bottom third and middle third with bisecting angle and the palette is consistently airy and pale. All works for me mate. Faved in a heartbeat.
Mikel.
Lovely shot.
