I see that you weren't able to recover your gallery, Elizabeth. That's a lot to give up. But like most men, your "ex" is probably a bastard. I know I am. :-)
I just viewed your shot at full screen size and am rubbing my eyeballs. They are completely overdosed on all that color. You have quite a mixed bag of flowers and plants in this bouquet. You must be speaking PhotoShopese because I don't understand "cross process colors" and I'm not sure how you would add texture. Flower shots are generally not my forte; so I'm treading very lightly in this relatively foreign land. I know from experience that shooting bright colored flowers (particularly yellows, reds and whites) in direct sunlight is very difficult. The real flower photo enthusiasts use various filters and, unlike me, actually know what they're doing. To me I would say that you used too much Tide With Bleach because the lights are too light, not that I could do any better. That's why my flower shots are taken in the shade and posted very rarely.
Beautiful, bright and colourful. Just my kind of capture! I love the slightly muted affect of the whole capture too. It does look very vintage. Really clever effect! I am inspired to try it!
On a different note i notice from the comment above that you have lost some work and may had a rough time lately! Hope you are doing ok xxx
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
Thanks for the concern! If you're referring to what I think you are, I changed my username because it was my maiden name. I have been happily married to my husband for three years! As far as my gallery, I have 102 photos uploaded on Caedes under the username "wencele," but they're thankfully saved on my computer as well. Thanks for your feedback palral and Homtail!
