Another day.. another girl??? That takes something away from this special illustration ... which is beautiful... which is more one in a million ... or Another Lifetime; Another Girl. How did you create this illustration? It was skillfully done! ~Ouimon~
i took a photo, and redrew what i wanted to detail in illustrator, then i placed the original back in photoshop and blurred the image out of focus and colorized it, then dropped the vector arwork over it, adding a nice shading effect to the image.
i should have done a bit more of a smart blur to get more even tones, but hey, hindsight is 20/20
Rename it! This one isn't just another girl. You captured a moment in this drawing. Her expression seems so ... fleeting. It's almost as though I just whistled at her, and she turned around amused and familiar, but not very interested. This work shows more than just an ability to draw - it shows a good understanding of human nature.
Great illustration Cory. Thanks for explaining your technique. There is plenty of detail but the drawing is still clean with its lines and remains uncluttered. Nice work.I enjoy your posts and look forward to the next one.
mightn't the title be taken the wrong way?... I kinda doubt he's remarking on how quickly he goes through woman... perhaps he's just remarking on how his concepts of beauty change daily... although perhaps I should let the artist speak for himself =)
Amazing image that captures facial features, her hair the body language etc.
Title makes you look stupid, if you were that good you would be in the British newspapers.
I saw this picture on here before I became a member and it was one of my instant favorites. I like the hair design and the look you put on her face and how she's half turned around sort of mischieveously or something. It is very well done.
