Hi Dj...how are things?...an interesting image here...good mix of light and shadow and I particularly like where the light is falling on the angle of the bolt and a bit of the threading...a good macro.:Pat.

If you want a place in the sun, prepare to put up with a few blisters.
I like the industrial feel of this image, and it's interesting to see the grit and machining in such detail. Although I like the focus, I feel that the foreground object is too close, being cut off on the top and bottom of the image. Would it be possible to shoot an object like this fully within the frame without sacrificing the detail that gives the image its character?

So far I like this one the best. It's a smaller, tighter shot with a simple color range. Some amazing detail. The background is pushed away by your focus and uncluttered. Makes a nice desktop.
