Another photo from this mornings wandering around. I was lucky enough to notice that the Louisiana Iris's behind my house had started to bloom again. Little color enhancement and viola! Enjoy. Ty.

A nice image. I like the grayscale and colour, although I think it may have been improved if you had edited out just a bit, not all, of the pollen on the petals. That's just my opinion, but it still looks great!

Imagine what this poor Iris bulb had to endure all last summer DJ! Looks pretty healthy to me. I rather like this....I am partial to irises and I like how you desaturated the background and accented the dark purple of the bloom. Thanks for all the hard work you did on this. Much appreciated :~)

The technique you used is very interesting and I also love the way you brought out the wonderful color of the iris. I agree that less pollen on the petal would have been preferable. Generally, though, a terrific photo.
