Finally getting a bit creative again. It has been a while since I have posted. This is an idea I came up with a few days ago. Hope you all enjoy. Bryce & Photoshop. Please comment and vote. Ty.
I love the bright red candle like glow in the front of the picture. It makes everything seem very mysterious. Like something out of King Arther and days long gone. Lovely evocative image nice one! Glad to see you posting again. Looking forward to another

I'm with the others on this one, Dj. I'm not sure why the index is low, but perhaps there are not a lot of artists on here who appreciate this type of art, but I do and I like this rendition very much..good job, and thanks for posting.
I like this, though I don't know why and I don't know what it means. I might prefer the background a bit sharper and some other element used to hide parts or add mystery. Then again, it might just be because it reminds me I can't see properly with these glasses any longer!
It reminded me of a postbox to start with, but then of something out of Dr. Who. Not sure why. Doesn't look like anything I remember from that (which is virtually nothing, but still) but it has that sort of feel to it somehow. Don't know if that makes sense.
The background works well for me here, but the focal point (ie the object in the foreground on the right) doesn't seem to fit in. To be honest it looks like you have made the background seperately and then "pasted" this object into the image in photoshop, rather than rendered the whole scene together. Maybe the DOF is too shallow?? Also I find it offputting the way you ahve positioned the "beacon" off centre on it's octagonal plinth... again it doesn't really look like it belongs. I think this could be a really interesting scene but it needs some refinement.
