I like the way Hottrockin put it, "Colorful crashing fractal waves..." - except I would have spelt 'colorful' as 'colourful', of course! And I wouldn't have thought to put it like that.
Gorgeous colours, stunning image... Reading that comment makes me think of something like... maybe a waterfall - or a lightfall; a storm at sea - a storm of light; frozen ice curtains, layer upon layer of thin, clear ice - frozen light curtains...
