This is a butterfly egg I found on a palm leaf in our local butterfly garden. I'm sad about how it came out: I thought that I focused it right, but... And now the egg is gone, so I can't retake it. I tried to sharpen it a bit in the right places, but don't know if I succeeded. Let me know.

Very unusual but so clever! Yea, you can see that the focal point is off just a smidgen but not enough to ruin this shot at all. Very cool and unique!!

Good eye! Although the focus is slightly off, I'm still enjoying the textures and lighting you achieved in this well composed shot! I myself, have never seen a butterfly egg, so I'm very pleased you brought this to us! :) Fine work!
