This is another butterfly egg, this time - hatched, that I found under a palm leaf. I'd like to think that it has just hathed from that egg, but I can't be sure. Let me know what you think. Also, I'm not sure if it's in the right gallery, so if not - let me know, I'll move it. Edit: moved it.

I think you've captured the delicateness very well. The ambiance is soft and warm but there are also very interesting patterns on the leaf and the caterpillar. A fine job you did.

If only there was a butterflies-to-be gallery! Nice image. I think it would also work without the caterpillar as almost as abstract.

This is beautiful. I like the greeness of it with the light coming through. It gives a feeling of peace. And the butterfly egg is something most of us have never seen. Thank you for sharing!

The insects/spiders gallery has a few caterpillars in it. In the butterflies gallery they all have wings.
I like this shot for the palm leaf. Lots of light and lines there. I think the caterpillar is just too small to be the focal point. However; I love the educational value in this. I always wondered were the little buggers came from!
