I've been trying to embrace winter, but we've had no snow, just ice! The ice is really cool, but I'm having a hard time taking pics of it. So I've been going thru my archives to look at the bright pretty flowers! Here's one of my favorites from September . . .

Razor sharp clarity and detail and fantastic natural colours.
I suspect that this image of yours here is going to garner a lot of praise ... and well deserved at that.
And I echo your words in your narrative and think you have provided a silver lining for us that are struggling to embrace this non-winter thus far. If not for the weather anomalies that we are experiencing ... we might not have gotten to see this as soon as we have.
A breath of colour and a welcomed one at that. Thanks for sharing. :o)

Well, good old purmusic is certainly as enthusiastic as I am over this lovely bit of trash..lol...it's wonderful, and I don't think it's just the drearies outside that's providing the appeal of this one..it's just plain great.
