Tech stuff
ISO 1600, f/4.0 @ 155mm W/Cannon EF 70-200mm on Rebel T1i.
Minor contrast, crop, and cleanup in post processing.

Great shot and wonderful clarity. I'm wondering why you chose the ISO at that number. I can't deny the crystal clear result.

Never used a that high ISO number DP, 400 is already a high number to me. Will give it a try anyhow, as your image is perfect.

The ISO is the result of leaving the camera in aperture priority mode and not paying attention. oops. :)
This camera produces very little noise even at this high ISO. But I did reduce noise with GRAYCstoration in the Gimp and added a tiny bit of Unsharp Mask before reducing it to 1680X1050.
I wish I had closed down the aperture a little and gotten the entire shell in focus as well. Next time!
