The players take the field.
Considerable post work in Lightroom and Photoshop to remove defects in the chess pieces, dust, lens distortion, as well as significant manipulation of lighting, clarity, and noise reduction. In this case noise reduction was used far beyond noise level to give the pieces an ultra smooth liquid look.
