The main 3 shopping streets in Yalikavak are covered from the direct sun as you can see in the image and it makes so much difference, plus it is so clean.
I know I have posted a couple of images of some water pipes but this image I think shows some of the beautiful colors and designs.
I was taking my early morning walk to get the daily newspaper when I noticed this cafe had just finished setting up. Hope you like it. (Yalikavak)
Taken in a back street in Bodrum centre, this is how the locals spend their time away from the 100 plus heat.
Just to put a face to (Bursa)
These are hand painted and I just loved the vivid colors.
The weather was over 100 and this market holder just had to take the weight of his feet. I thought it looked good in the middle of all his towels and carpets.
The local small shop is right ahead as you can see in the image but so many distractions before you get there. Taken in Yalikavak.
Taken from our table as we had breakfast (Yalikavak SW Turkey)
I just liked the way the yellow frame stands out from the others.
This was taken outside a fish restaurant in Yalikavak (Bodrum) what happens is you pick the fish you want to eat.
I just liked the three different materials used and how they work so well together.
Not sure what gallery to put this in, but I hope you like it. The image was originally a set of wind chimes.
This was taken late evening at a small open air market.
This was taken at a rest stop in Turkey the condition was amazing I know it is American but what year or model I have no idea, I am sure someone out there can give me more info.
Trying my hand at abstract again I know it is not everyones cup of tea but hey it is different. Hope you like it.
I took the advice of some comments and cropped in closer. All the craftwork images I am posting are from a fishing town called Yalikavak around 15-20klms from Bodrum in Turkey.
More craft work from Turkey
This was taken at a small local market in Yalikavak (SW Turkey) all these goods are hand made and some of the workmanship is unbelievable.
These are the shape and design of the older first type of water pipe but the workmanship on the metal I think is so nice.
