This is a portion of the Appalachian Trail (AT) that takes you to the top of Mt Rogers in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest in Virginia. I backpacked this in 2009 and to date is one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on. Even a rainy day is gorgeous. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

This was taken on my way back to Ohio from Arizona in March. This is another angle of the old gas station on Rt 66 In Glenrio, TX. Glenrio sets right on the Texas and New Mexico boarder. The town and Rt 66 died when they built Interstate 40. This might be all that is left of the town. When I was there they were demolishing the other buildings. If you go into Google Earth and type in Glenrio TX you will see a red 360. Click on that. It will give you a 360 view of the gas station from under the awning. It's very cool. I took this picture standing at the base of the White Tank mountains outside of Phoenix in February of this year. This was the clearest I saw the sky while I was there. After I took this picture it rained for 3 days straight which is unheard of in this area. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

I took this picture during a nature walk in the Cleveland Metro Parks on the Lake to Lake trail. The Cleveland Metro Parks is nicknamed the Emerald Necklace because it surounds Cleveland, Ohio on three sides and includes such gems as the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo, two very nice golf courses and many many miles of trails that takes you past beauties such as this. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

This is the 2nd in a series and at least one more to come. I took this on our vacation last December on the Mayan Rivera near Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My job was to stake claim on our palopa for the day which gave me time to shot some wonderful sunrises. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

I am resubmitting this photo. Pierre (=ppigeon), one of the Consul for Caedes gave me feedback along with other members and friends. I was advised that it would look better cropped differently and the dead spot to the bottom right cleaned up along with some other ideas I tried to incorporate. After careful consideration I made the changes and I agree with everyones feedback. Just wasn't able to bring more waterfall into the pic. Thanks to all!!! Please feel free to compare both and let me know what you think.

I was traveling through Northern West Virginia and Southern Pennsylvania when I came across this wind generator farm. I'm not really sure what state I was in. This picture is actually part of a panorama. I only used this part so that you can see the generators better. There are as many generators to the right and to the left of this picture as you can see here. Side Note: Some people are against these because they say it takes away form the scenery. I think they are beautiful. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

I know. You thought it was the Cleveland Browns. I took this in 2008 with a point and shoot, Canon S5 IS. This is the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo. I really like the image because of the sun from the back. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.
