A golden evening.
Louisville Swamp is part of the Minnesota River Valley. This part of the swamp borders an area of oak savannah that provides some nice fall landscapes. No alligators here. ☺
Sunrise on a crisp autumn morning.
Taken just before sunset while hiking in the Minnesota River Valley.

The comfort of a mellow autumn morning.
A bit of fun with perspective.
A nice place I know to sit and rest a bit.
A portion of the Minnesota River taken on a chill, early spring day, just after ice-out.

Every monarch needs her personal attendant.

One of my favorite spots for enjoying this view at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
The sun was catching the tops of these trees, just before sunset, lighting up the golden yellow leaves.
This evening had been drab and gray. I was thinking about heading home, but as the sun set, I was gifted with some amazing colors for a period of about 15 minutes.
A nice day for a walk.
