Sometimes you just want to stop, look, and enjoy the show.
This shot was taken just after the sun had dropped below the horizon. The sky was overcast, but a small break in the clouds appeared in the west for just a few minutes at just the right time.
Sometimes, it pays to get up early.

I thought I'd upload a winter landscape as a minor relief from the dog days of summer. This image was captured on a chill Minnesota morning in February.
This boardwalk crosses Woodlake Marsh, located in the heart of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. The clouds on the horizon filtered the setting sun just enough to enable me to capture the foreground detail.
This sunset was captured at the end of a long hike along the Minnesota River near the Mall of America. A couple of corporate office complexes are in the foreground.
Taken while out hiking about an hour before sunset. I used Photoshop to balance the exposure between the light and dark areas.
