I thought this was a light-hearted post. Thank you for your comments.
All of Wyoming was just exploding with color and contrasts.
This guy was alone and his demeanor seemed more threatening. His glance was wicked and we were definitely in his space. Needless to say, we did not wait for him to reach the road. Whewwww!!
Thanks to the smokey haze from the wildfires, I was able to capture many dreamy images of my favorite range. Thank you for your comments.
They were soft and looked like fuzzy daisies. We found an entire bush off the road near Helena, MT.
My favorite intriguing geyser :)
She just came back fron her beautician. She chose platinum for her eye lashes as well. The pedicure didn't hurt...LOL
I'm here in Montana for a cattle auction. I'm going to be steaks! He really seemed to be looking for help :(
This hotel overlooks Waterton Lakes. There were 2 days to closing for the season. A few miles down the road and on the lake, lies Waterton Village...a cool place with European flavor. There is otherwise nothing else around for miles.
Quaint, Rustic, happy and, well, isolated! This cabin was definitely a show-off!!!
Somewhere near yellowstone NP. This Water was gushing from underneath a huge rock arch. The wooshing sound was quite tranquilizing and the colors, mezmerizing!
I just loved the Teton Range :)
We could touch her from our car but, she didn't care about us. It was a gorgeous day and there were plenty of berries! She was soooooo large and she seemed so harmless. Her cubs had separated to either side of the street so, she just kept crossing in front of our car to check up on them as if we were not there. There was no one else on the road. This was all ours to observe and photograph. I must admit, I put the camera down because I just had to watch her :)
We crossed over into Canada. Luckily, we had splendid, perfect weather following us throughout. I took this shot from near Prince of Whales Hotel. They were scheduled to close for the season in 2 days.
Yellowstone NP. Huge and magnificent. Splendid living color.
This family was searching for a place to call home. We were so very lucky to see many magnificent Bears throughout Montana.
Glacier National Park. Stunning!
This was in Hayden Valley - Yellowstone NP. The Bison are many and thriving well. They were "in your face" or, we were in theirs :)
The organisms that grow and thrive in and around the streams and pools of Yellowstone, show off in an array of stunning color.
Perhaps someone can tell me what these are? Incredibly beautiful to look at.
