The RAW-image was taken at a folklore event (inclusive a gig ride event), in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands at July 14th, 2022. The editing and converting it into the PNG-format was done yesterday (Thursday, July 28th, 2022).
It's my Foofy Friday (F˛) contribution for this week.
PS: the blue color is the real color of the backside of the gig.
This image from the 'bin' was taken at a folklore/agricultural festival at the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
The farmer is plowing his field with three Belgian draft horses. A rare scene meanwhile, as plowing is done now with powerful modern tractors, mostly provided with GPS-equipment for very accurate plowing
I've cloned-out some disturbing elements, like the parked cars of the folklore event spectators and/or photographers there.
Today I'll provide you with two images of the same subject. A daytime shot and a nighttime shot.
Depicted is the 'Kloveniersdoelen', a medieval building in the town of Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands. It was built between 1607 and 1611 in Flemish Renaissance style as the headquarters of a markmen's guild (a klovenier is a long musket). Nowadays it's a movie theater and grand café
For the daytime shot, please check-out this link.
PS: This night shot is a rework of this image, because of better RAW-image editing possibilities now.
My weekly Foofy Friday (F˛) contribution.
Take care, stay safe and healthy!
This is the second one of my series 'Brotherly Art', showing pictures of artworks created by a younger brother of mine.
The artworks are painted mostly on wooden panels by using either monochromatic or various colors of ordinary paint and depict all kind of different subjects .
This night-shot was taken on December 29th, 2018 in Amsterdam, the capital of my small country (The Netherlands) on the occasion of the light festival there.
It's the second one of this series.
Because of the difficult photographic conditions, it was quite hard to achieve an optimal result, mainly because the route was so crowded that using a tripod, which is desirable for making a good night-shot, was (almost) impossible. In fact, one was obliged to take hand held shots.
Had some doubts whether I should categorize this image in the 'sunrise/sunset' gallery or not. The still high position of the setting sun, decided me to put it the 'shorelines' gallery.
Taken at the former Eastern Scheldt estuary, there where the the Eastern Scheldt is adjacent to the North Sea.
Happy New Year to all of you!

So have some 'consideration' (😁) if the result isn't that optimal as in normal situations.
This plane is a Boeing Stearman, developed in 1934. 8,400 of them were built for the US Air Force and the US Navy as a primary trainer. The Boeing Stearman is one of the most famous biplanes in the world. Stearmans are highly practical flying machines due to their smart 1930's design, and their simplicity of use. This classic plane, designed by Lloyd Stearman, did earn her reputation as: 'The biplane built like a truck that flies like an angel'. Flying legends like these proved to be valuable as mail plane, airmen trainer and crop duster.
The in 1943 built 'Old Crow' is one of the few still flying Boeing Stearmans in The Netherlands.
PS: image was taken in the air of the vicinity of Zeeland Airport, The Netherlands.
This image was taken on May 14th, 2017 while I drove on this this narrow country road on top of an inland dike. The borders of this road were natural 'decorated' with cow-parsley.
The depicted village is Arnemuiden, situated on the west part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
Hope you'll agree with me that it's a lovely sight. I've enjoyed it anyhow.
The initial RAW (NEF) capture was taken on October 18th, 2016 on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
In order to get a suitable entry for the 'Impressionism' contest, I've added first some artificial blur and then I've used the free Photoshop plug-in 'Red Paw Media (RPM) Beautifier'.
So, this is my entry for the 'Impressionism' contest.
Referring to the narrative of this one, I was invited again by this family, this time for the 2016 Dahlia Show held on September 10th and 11th, 2016.
I captured again 'some' (please notice the quotes) images, enabling me to continue the Dahlia Show series.
Here's my first addition, and it's my weekly Foofy Friday image too.
I like to continue my Mural series with this one.
This mural on a 'blind' side wall of a shopping mall in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands, is painted by the Dutch artist Stefan Thelen (aka 'Super-A') and it's named 'Flushing, 700 Years Maritime Town'. It shows a young woman surrounded by typical Flushing features such as the Scheldt Crane, and the shore light on the sea front.
The Belgian pilot vessels 'Honte' and 'Raan' off the Zeelandic Flanders coast.
As you can see, the weather was 'nice' (wind force 7-8) and the sea was rather 'choppy' causing that the vessels had to perform a 'dancing' act.
---Lynx Goes For A Salty Shower---
..... and not only the Dutch Pilot Vessel 'Lynx' off the Belgian coast.
This image was captured in Goes, a town on the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
Think that this image 'writes' its own narrative.
It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W Challenge and probably my entry for the current 'Black & White/Mono' contest as well.
This image was captured yesterday, on my way to a Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands, shopping center. I could use this brief photo opportunity because I've always a camera with me and got the aid of malfunctioning traffic lights. Think I've used the temporary chaos in an optimal way, lol.
This image was taken in the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This forest edge is adjacent to the coastal sand dunes leading to the North Sea.
This image was taken in 'Town Harbor' of the little town of 'Goes'. Goes is situated on the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, the Netherlands.
