This picture is of one of my most beloved ornaments. It was given to me by my mother in 1987, and I've put it on the tree ever since.

On our boat ride home from Nantucket in August. This was darkened a little bit to get the true silhouette out of the fishermen.

My son took this photo and he is a thirteen year old amateur photographer. He has a non-SLR camera, and our whole family is amazed by his work. He found this bee resting on a flower(we don't know what the flower is called. Sorry!). The results were fantastic. This is the best of many pictures that he took. This picture was not doctored in any way, it was only cropped. Any tips/tricks on nature photography will be welcomed for him.
