While walking the streets of Intercourse, PA, I saw on the, not so secret test track, the Amish experimental Hovercraft. It runs on hay; but emits noxious odors and slippery exhaust material. It is still in the experimental designs as it only hovers a few inches off the grounds. More testing is required.

Grassy Butte is an unincorporated community in southeastern McKenzie County, North Dakota. It has the last log building, adobe covered sod post office in the country.
Located southwest of Medora, this site memorializes the life and activities in North Dakota of Antoine de Vallombrosa, the Marquis de Mores, who arrived in 1883. Among his enterprises were a beef packing plant, a stagecoach line, a freighting company, refrigerated railway cars, cattle and sheep raising, land ownership, and a new town which he called Medora, in honor of his wife.

At Oshkosh the Navy brought some of their aircraft for display and to show in flight.
After blocking the road to exit, a herd of buffalo wandered to the side of the road and just stared at the cars. Later they joined up with another herd at the visitor center to stop traffic and intimidate the tourists. Of course it is the rutting season and the bulls were nervous.
Traveling through the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Northern section, the clouds covered much of the beauty of the mountains. Sometimes I was able to get a good clear photo before or after the rain. I'll always be thankful to Nikoneer for his assistance in making a vacation trip into a wonderful adventure through North Dakota.
