Leadership Restructuring

Submitted by caedes 09/19/05 1:44 AM GMT

Normally when someone says "leadership restructuring" it means that everyone is getting fired, but fortunately that is not the case. I've decided to redesign the caedes.net leadership structure in the style of the Roman Senate. The main difference other than name change is the creation of a new group 'Aediles' just below the ImageMods (now known as 'Praetors'). This new group will be a way to acknowledge the contributions of our long-term members when we don't need to have any extra ImageMods around. You can find more details about all these groups on the Caedes.net Senate page.

Love the Roman theme. 'Praetor' does sound very impressive and respectible, fitting for our gravitas. ;-)

Congrats to all the new and future Aediles.

Let's also hear it for our Praetor Maximus! =D

Hail Caesar! Err, I mean Praetor Maximus. We are, of course, not in a dictatorship...

This is a great idea. I love the Roman theme and how official and impressive the whole thing sounds. One question, what comes below Aedile? I'm guessing "Citizen"...

Yes, everyone with a username is a citizen. The people who are just on the site but don't have a username would be the people whom we've conquered but don't have caedes citizenship. =)

When do these new dudes get picked, or has that already happened?

Aediles members are picked continually based on qualifications. Only one has been picked so far.

There shall not be 3 classes of the caedes. The 3rd class will do all the work, while the rich and royal 1st class will get all the rights, while the 3rd class will be the center of the economy. Does it ring a bell to anyone?? Its like france here. I might start a revolution. Where is Nepoleon when we need him...

this is great, it goes right along with the Caedes and then the Cadre, and an organized structure never hurt anyone. plus, it's cool :-)
