Ok, some wild stabs on my part here... I'm working on the senario that styles have been "borrowed" or submissions of pieces that normally wouldn't be shown are in here. I'm thoroughly uncertain about parts. I guess I'm worse at this then I was at the puzzle. And I don't think I excelled there either... ^_^ So here's my first try:

i thought about photoimagery because of the usual framing he makes.. and the sharpness of the image.. it does look like his style.

I agree about the style of nmsmith, my theory is that he's been mimicked. Who knows. Usually one should go for the obvious. I tend to do the opposite... ^_^ I'm usually wrong I guess. But the times I'm right makes up for that. :P I was thinking the same about the framing and the general setting on the B shot, it looks like photoimagerys style. I'm silly enough to think the contrast and grains / artefact doesn't look just like him. (But it obviously quite bad criteria to use.) On the other hand the image I choose as his is definitely not his style (especially in exposure)... I'd say go for the obvious and leave me to fail miserably. :P (I was thinking that if we eventually got some clues, my wild guesses could help ruling out some stuff...)

I thought about photoimagery for 'B' too, but his borders are normally edged with colour. As for nmsmith for 'G', I went for the obvious bait, but in the back of my mind I was wondering whether it was a red herring!

I smell some red herrings too, definately. Next time I'll go more for "the obvious" choices. I've made my list already. Probably just as wrong as my first though. ^_^ We all seem to agree on DigitalFX, regmar and mythica at least. ^_^

lol! :P Are you sure... Have you ever seen a photoimagery image with so undefined contrast (and quite a bit artefacts in the dark areas)? (Not that I doubt he can make such images... I just believe he's never showing us the pieces that are not perfect...) Well, I'm going to put him in the same spot as you did in my next guess anyway... ^_^ The most obvious for me is DigitalFX.

The trouble with all this is that the more you stare at them the more you see that just doesn't quite seem right. For instance the only one so far not to go with jojo on f is Tina. The more I look the more I wonder. Joseph does fabulous windows. BUT they usually include the full window and are just as much about the light play inside the room as the window itself. AAARG! If I look too long I find a reason NOT to go with each one!

Hehe... Exactly! :P We'll just have to hope Sam shows us some mercy and give us clues. ^_^

I can't not believe that 'G' is not nmsmith ... it has to be.

Besides, it it isn't, I just left a glowing tribute on an imposters' work, lol

'A' could be mayne, or as an outside heidlerr. But, I am leaning towards mayne.

Paul_Gerritsen may be a strong contender for a couple. 'H' as one and possibly one of the falls picks ... I have to stop my brain hurts ... ok, later then fellow sleuths ... maybe the gods will be more generous tomorrow in indicating how the lists are doing.

There is a list of -who- the authors are above. You don't have to figure out who the artists are any more, just match each of the names to an image.

Congratulations Klas and everyone else on the guessing team. I’ve been watching this contest from the sidelines with great interest. I must say the speed that you tracked down and found the correct answers amaze me.

Sam deserves a pat on the back too. I’m not sure if you are a genius for the way you orchestrated the event, or a fruit cake for wanting too Sam :-) Either way it was great entertainment.

Maybe I made it too easy for you guyz to guess mine. If there is a next time I won't be so transparent. I have many styles in my pocket. Humm the "Amorphous" image was indeed fairly obvious, but if I had posted my "Austrian Colts" who of you would have guessed it. Hummmmmmmm. It's tought dealing with such smart and perceptive individuals and teams. Congrats all way round.

Yea, that would have been a much tougher call to make. You are equal to most of the photographic oriented artists on the Guesstheartist team, but it was already some tough calls to make among you. Some things seemed obvious but most artists had some "angle" on their pieces that they don't usually present. There are a few artists that can be as proficient as you in 3D art, you and mythica can do some stuff that are in the same genre... If you hadn't used more or less the same design as base that you did on "SpacePod" I would perhaps have doubted more about which your piece was.

I have moved all the contest images into their respective authors galleries.
