Thanks for your coments raven on Blue Moon. I am glad you liked the overall effect. I did smudge the moon a little, but though the moon needed to be seen. Of second thoughts though, I agree that the over all picture, is quite dreamy, and maybe the moon should have been softened. I will try and make this change to see what it looks like. Once again thanks.

Raven, thanks for the comment on that image of mine with the Latin name that I won't even try to spell again. :-) I agree completely about the light source, except I didn't think it would be a big deal when a bit of the sun is blocked by the cloud from the viewer. It may seem out of proportions, but who knows.

Actually, on a different image, I had the same problem except much worse! I was looking for a very large sun, but the reflection on the water seemed over-powering. I only had a few minutes, so I tuned down the power of the sun a great deal, and rendered it not realizing that the reflection was just as big. It looked terrible! Oh well. :-)

Hey thanks for your coments. they were much appreciated. I know what you mean about the looking glass, I tried many combinations, and never though of a wood effect. maybe i will give it a go and let you know what it is like. Glad you like it anyway.
