i've been here just over two months now. in that brief time, i've re-submersed myself in a passion that had remained dormant (for the most part) over a period of almost 20 years.
thanks largely not only to the advice and criticisms of my work, but for the access to work far better than my own, i've had the opportunity to share and to grow.
i had originally come here (after being told of the site by Cat (animaniactoo) in order to guage the reaction to my work, and to see where i stood. i'm happy to say that there's no turning back, and i look forward to growing even further, and to sharing whatever comes of it along the way.
this has been more fun, and more thought provoking than i'd imagined it could be (ok, maybe not in off-topic :P) and a whole bunch of you out there are responsible for that

I saw a needle that winked its eye.

Wow, Rob...such sentimentality...and here I thought you were just another goof to pick on.
=D
Kidding aside...Caedes is a great place due largely in part to the great people and immense talent, and I'm glad you checked us out and decided to stay.
**and for the record...I have Cat to blame huh??
=D

I'm glad you're back into photography and decided to share it with all of other nuts in the Caedes basket. :) I've learned a lot here too, and I owe it to a lot of great people that aren't afraid to speak their minds..only way to go...groan..grow..well...you know...You're welcome. :)PJ
8•) I'm glad you've found a home here Rob. Now ya know why I suggested it and then why I busted your chops to come play in the off-topic forum 8•P
On a more serious note, I'm glad that you're able to explore your interest and continue to develop in an environment where growth and sharing are encouraged, and that it's added another dimension to your life 8•)
LOL @ Terri for suggesting the speech naked. I think that's a great idea!
Rob, you're a sweetheart, and your work speaks for itself! That last architectural photo you posted that I commented on STILL leaves a sweet taste in my mouth. Go figure... who knew a picture could be so good???
It was really nice of you to share your feelings with us, and I think many of us feel the exact same way! I joined Caedes around the same time as you, maybe just a little before, and I feel like I'm home whenever I visit.
Thanks again for your nice post... ciao bellisimo!

Gee Rob...now I feel bad picking on your third eye.....but I'll get over it. It's really been fun having you here and I enjoy your work. I also made fun of your foofy eye but that helped spur me on to show my foofy side...I did flowers...I suppose I'll be kicked out of Hell's Angels now. All thanks to you Rob...I'll be laughed at and ridiculed the rest of my life...but that's ok, you're fun to have around, I hope you stay for a long time.
