A new version of Apophysis has been released, there's a bug in it, for more information on it, click here. It isn't a major bug so if you read his journal, you should be able to avoid it.

It's not a contest to see who can comment or download first Noah. Besides, the only to get better at Apop is practice and experimentation. That, and help from friends and others ;)

I am playing with the new version and there are a few things I already like better .... of course I can't really judge, being a newbie to the fractal thing, but it did seem a bit more speedy. However, seems it is harder to select my triangle to distort it in the edit mode?!

maybe you need to scroll in for that. the triangles haven't changed :)

Though there's plenty of free tuts on the site, have you looked ?

or you can pay a $0 and ask someone for help or look on the net lol. -_-

I did the looking on the netting and the tutorials on caedes (yours i couldent make work..but i know i did osmething wrong, missed a step etc etc)

Thanks for the heads up ... I was kinda wondering if it was my inability to zero in on the little dot since the background looks different. :-D I have tried to click and distort and end up moving the darned thing - grrrrr. I will try your suggestion.

The Visual Arts Academy is not free, sorry about that Noah. I wasn't sure if it would make a difference or not.
There's plenty of free tuts here, like I said, or you can pop over to the dark side & try DA.. They have a bunch there too.

a lot of the tut's on DA aren't that helpful though. a lot of them are based on the first Apo and some don't even make sense. unless i'm just too slow to understand them
