I know that there is a simple application on the web on how to create a reflection of a selected area. What is is called? I cannot remember...

...the hard way is to copy the image onto a new layer, flip it verticle, change the lvls/perspective, eraser, etc etc...

I usually do it the Photoshop (layers) way...The simplest way for a regular standing figure reflected on the floor... is to take the figure (Hopefully, you've got it cut out), duplicate it...take the layer duplication, and place it under the first one on the layers order palette, mirror the duplicate (flip vertical), move the flipped image down so its bottom is under the bottom of the first one, and then decrease the opacity of the flipped image roughly about 50% to start (decrease more against a lighter background...although it's really up to you)...and there's your reflection...
