I just uploaded an image. At least I think I did. I am relatively certain that it was sized correctly, but I do not see it in the "New Images" folder. Does it have to undergo some form of approval process?

An image mod(erator) must approve the image b4 it appears in the new images gallery.

One can hardly complain of a little quality control with such a cool website. I rather thought that this was the case. How long does this generally take. Almost feels like a job interview. :-)

On the weekdays, it takes a couple minutes to an hour. On the weekends all the mods like to sleep in b/c of the hangovers. It could take up to a few hours sometimes. ;-)

Under "User Stats" on the right of the screen, click the "Show Users Online". If a "+", "=" or "*" symbol appears before a name, then your image will show up in a few minutes. [=Piner or +Samatar are two examples]. At the moment, there arn't any mods online.

your image doesnt appear in the approval queue - did it upload correctly or have you received a notice saying why it didnt?

I have not received any notices - here or at my e-mail. I will attempt to upload the image again.

I just tried again. The notice claims I was successful. This did not happen before. Thanks for your help! :-)
