It is my intention to post an improved version of my cheetah cub picture. I messed with the original RAW file in CS2 this afternoon at the suggestion of on of my fellow posters (thanks .noahnot) Can I replace the old with the new, or should I have thought of that before?

i think if you delete it and repost it as the same name it should be fine - but then I could be wrong too. personally, I think it looks quite natural looking as it is so dont go overboard on it :-)

I'll abide by the word of a professional, and leave it alone. :-)

well - at least give it a little time to see if you get some alternate feedback - if, after a few days you arent happy, then you still have the option to change it then.

Anyways, ppl sometimes like the saturated fake look of wallpapers? Like you know those Vista/XP wallpapers - they put at least +15-25 saturation. It's more of a photographers style/choice though.

Very true. I think I'll go look at it again. I just think the sun kinda bleached out the poor wittle kitty's color. It was a very bright day.

try hitting it with an auto fix - either levels or contrast - see what that does to it.
