Hmmm not sure if this is a question for this posting, but I'll ask anyway, does anyone know why the sun had such beautiful rings around it a couple days ago?

I did not personally see this....my daughter saw it....and asked me, and of course I didn't know....I'm not blonde for nothin' eh Mr Keifer?? So it sounds like a unanimous ice crystals thing...but I'd still like to know more about it. And Sam..you're right...I've never seen it at all..lol....so please, any more thought or facts on this?
