No nothing

Today I posted a new wallpaper that appeared to be well on its way to making a real hit in here, but now it's gone--I never would have thought in a million years that my stuff would offend somebody. I don't even know if I did, despite my email being up for God and the world to see. No explanation, no nothing. You want more of my stuff, come see me at MySpace. It's been real.

sorry, but reproduction of copyrighted material, including images that are adapted into 'fan art' isnt permitted under the sites Code of Conduct - which is why your image would have been deleted.

Coolness, but--all that stuff either came from a cd cover or somewheres else on the Net, I didn't originally shoot any of it. Same for all the posts I had up--although each of them are obvious tributes, it was the filter or effect that was the main exhibit. All that aside, why Morrison...? Not Pink Floyd, or Jeff Beck? Or Layne Staley of Alice In Chains? Or Jesus Jones? I understand, based on your explanation, why Morrison was taken down, what I don't understand is how the same rules don't apply to the other posts I submitted prior to Jim Morrison. I really want to understand that the most. The policy as I understand it, was the basis for my decision to remove my other posts. Just want to understand the otherwise "selective" reasoning. Thx!

Any image which uses copyrighted material (such as CD cover images) would generally contravene the COC. If you had images containing such material on caedes and they weren't removed, it probably just means no one had noticed yet.

Phil, thanks so much for your reference to 'fan art', as I blessedly had not been aware of that term before, and could have avoided all this had I been. No hard feelings, but I better understand why there didn't seem to be an appropriate category to send uploads to--despite the response I received towards my posts, which have utterly left me humbled to annihilation. 'Beyond cool' should just about do anyone. Thanks again.
