Was browsing the internet and came across this:
Caedes directory listing I've been a member for a year and a half and never seen numbers this low!!! Maybe time for a directory update? :-p
With all the new suggestions for galleries, it seems as though people are going overboard. What I am suggesting is that maybe for the next step in caedes.net developement each image will be able to be part of multiple categories in which it fits. Using this logic and with the addition of a few more specific galleries, users can find exactly what they are looking for easily, and artists would not gripe about their image fitting in too many context. Don't know what kind of database system this site uses, but I know for some this would be quite a difficult addition and others it would be quite simple. Just a suggestion. Can't beat good old fashioned comprimise.
Cheers
Well, all you have to do is double that. And add another zero...
As for your idea about categorizing, I have often thought about that possibility too. Maybe when the new website is chosen, seeing everything will probably have to be recoded anyway... but then, I'm not the one who has to do the work...
Wow, we're actually number 1 when you type in "Desktop Backgrounds". That's a far cry from when I first found this site over two years ago lost in the shuffle of the obscure pages in the back of some search on google. Times sure have changed since the old days, some bad, but mostly good. Congrats Caedes. =)
