Just by coincidence, another member asked about this as well on another thread/discussion forum.
Here is the answer as provided by one of our more animated and beloved mods; aka KEIFER:
"Dlds = Downloads .. which means that number of people actually downloaded the image to their computer
Views = means that number of people looked at the image info page (where the comments are) ..
subtract Downloads from Views and you have the number of people who looked but didn't download"
Soo ... blame him if it is incorrect. :oP (Which it isn't. :o) )
