PLEASE HELP

Hello readers,

I love the site and figured if there was anyone I should ask for help it would be you guys, so here goes.

I am looking for a particular desktop wallpaper. We used it on my computer at work until some jerk got rid of it before I could snatch it up.

It's a picture of a young girl (age 5 or so) standing in a feild of long grass with a rhino. The little girl has her hand out literally petting the rhino's tusk while the massive animal stands calmly. I looks so real I could swear it was a photograph, but it could just as easily be some trickery on Photoshop or something. It's an incredible image and one of gorgeous contrast between beauty and beast.

If anyone knows the wallpaper I am referring to, or somewhere I should look, could you please e-mail me at newrockedge102@hotmail.com

Thanks very much for all your help

hmmm. If it wasn't from here, it could be from literally any number of sites. It might be easier to track down the pic's url on the computer that was used to download it, depending on how long ago the image was found.

Wow .. you guys must have really small monitors where you work ..

Quote .. One of a series of photographs for an international campaign for St. Paul insurance. This scenario was created to convey the one-word headline "trust." In this image, it seems not only is the young girl placing her trust in the rhino; the rhino is somehow also placing its trust in the girl. And, yes, this photograph was made without digital retouching. Sometimes honesty and simplicity is the best way to achieve a lasting, universal image.

YES!!! Thank you!!!

Pixleslie, that's the exact one. I'm a little surprised at the size. It was a much large image used at work &keifer, but to simply find the image again is a good enough start.

Thank you all. I really appreciate it.

Sure thing. Isn't Maisel's stuff fantastic?

And through the wonders of resampling, you might have something acceptable at 72 dpi. Or the insurance co. might be glad to flip you a bit of their adware, y'know? Happy hunting.

actually .. if the ad was a magazine print ad .. then somebody came along and scanned it in at whatever size they wanted .. maybe cloning out carelessly placed double-speak marketing copy

Brilliant. I always forget how the trusty scanner can make a starving little pic into a fat and happy file.

And I quote; "That little girl is DEAD?!?!?!?!? "

Uhm ... LOLOLOL ... *goes off giggling and laughing like the little schoolgirl he is ... deep, deep ... down inside*

:oD

p.s. Of course, it is just mere coincidence that Pixleslie and me have the same first name.

We do however, seem to share other similarities ... *ponders if Leslie enjoys cookies as well*

Not while I'm in mourning, no. No cookies til I know that poor little girl is resting peacefully. I really fear further pictures will come to light showing what a tragic, disgusting thing happened that day. I--

I--

Excuse me. I have to sign off for a bit.
