Caedes, i was thinking (1st being stupid, but then i thought it might be a good idea) a lot of new members see the works here and then decide to buy Photoshop. Maybe you should look into seeing if you can get something from Adobe for have led a lot of people to buy Photoshop..I dont know, just a thought
adobe give the narrowest margins ever - it's positively scary - trust me on this as a reseller. your best bet is buying their products on an educational discount if you or a close personal friend qualifies for this.
Its worth enquiring about though, I know for instance, Canon will offer benefits to those who promote their name and products (at least in the professional arena) and maybe Adobe would do the same...possibly some sort of recognition or something.
trust me - they have a pretty vice like lock on the market and dont really care too much about who's using there stuff or rewarding them for it. the only real scheme they do like that is a points based system where you have to buy skip loads of there gear before they'll hand out anything for free. a resellers mark up is around 10% whereas their academic licensing offers up to 50% discount.
Educational discounts is the way to go, I home school my kids, and I go to educational technology conventions in Orlando. I picked up Bryce, Poser, 3-D Paint and PS... all for less then the retail price of PS. :c)
