OK. I feel really silly for asking this, but how do I make a custom URL so I can put links to my work in my sig.? (I hope that this fits in this category lol)
Not wanting to sound negative, but is it really necessary for people to put links to their work in the sig? After all if people want to check out your gallery, all they have to do is click on your name...
It may not seem like it Sam, but if you wanted to attract attention to a very old image of yours, adding a link to it in your signature helps. I tried this with Summer Shed, its c-index went up and I got the several more comments that I was looking for. Its pretty cheap yes, but it works haha.
Just out of curiosity, is your hair naturally blonde? If not, I could put a sticker on myself, call myself a pear, and say I am fruity everytime I need help with something. ;-)
So this whole disscussion is to teach you how to use links, and you didn't bother when you had the opportunity? Did you finally figure it out or do you need more assistance?
Please do not play yourself as a dumb blonde. If you have a real question, that means that you are curious and wanting to learn and there is nothing dumb about that. People will help you out whether you play the damsel in distress or not. Some will respect you more for your intelligent questions. I saw some of your work. You are a very talented young woman. Your work is great!!!
Just to say something about Sam's comment I have found the link of people's sigs very helpful. ..to see new images that I havent seen before without going through the whole photography gallery (or any other gallery) and I don't go around and look at everyone's galleries. ..so I've started doing it myself.
